Top 3 tips and tricks for the Import-Export business in GTA 5:

3. Don’t create collections:

When the player is introduced to the Import-Export business, he is greeted with the concept of collections. These collections are basically orders by high profile clients, who want a specific set of cars delivered to them simultaneously. This not only requires the player to keep sourcing Top Range vehicles until he finishes all the cars in the collection(which is a very hectic task) but also requires more than 1 player to do the collections. The collections are also not very time effective and therefore it is best not to finish a collection. Normally sourcing and exporting any vehicle you find is the better choice.

2. Countering Enemy NPCs:

Sometimes, after the player has stolen a vehicle, enemies will spawn to chase down and kill the player depending on the mission. These enemies can be simply avoided by just ignoring them and driving to the vehicle warehouse, but the NPCs will shoot at the car, often resulting in high repair costs. To counter this, the player must first steal the vehicle and then drive very slowly and carefully till he/she receives a message from the assistant, telling them that they are being followed. After this, the car must be parked in a safe spot on the side and the player must exit the car and fight the enemies on foot.

4 NPC waves spawn in total(another one spawns after one gets destroyed). The player must keep his distance from the Top Range Vehicle and fight the waves. After all 4 waves are successfully fought, the player can get back into the vehicle and drive back to the warehouses without worrying about NPCs.

1. Source only Top Range Vehicles:

The Import-Export business in GTA 5 features 3 different ranges for vehicles. The Standard Range is valued the lowest, the Mid Range has moderate value and the Top Range vehicles have the highest value. The range of the vehicle sourced depends on the luck of the player. However, there is a simple exploit to source only Top Range vehicles. The best part about this exploit is that it does not even go against the Rockstar Games policy or guidelines, unlike other exploits in the game.

First, the player must start a ‘source vehicle mission from the CEO office. After this, if the sourced vehicle is standard or mid-range, it must be stored in the warehouse and not sold. However, if the sourced vehicle is Top Range, it can be bought back to the warehouse and can be sold even to the highest bidder. This way, if the player keeps exporting Top range vehicles and storing Standard and mid-range vehicles, at one point, the player will start sourcing only Top-Range vehicles.
