In honor of Real Madrid’s victory over Inter in the Champions League group stages in the past, EA has introduced the Late Winner SBC in line with the Road to the Finals (RTTF) promo coming to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. Players should have a look at this straightforward single-task challenge for some great rewards without much effort, even though it isn’t precisely a dedicated RTTF Squad Building Challenge.

The top players from any of the top 3 European club competitions, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Europa Conference League, are showcased in the Road to the Finals campaign. The excitement for this promotion is quite strong because there are special cards available from all of the aforementioned international club championships.

The RTTF Late Winner SBC in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team is worth completing due to its low cost

The player base often prefers single-task Squad Building Challenges that are reasonably priced and produce packs with average to high ratings. The Late Winner SBC will therefore appeal to regular FUT players.

Requirements to complete the RTTF Late Winner SBC:

  • Number of players in the squad: 11
  • Nationalities represented in the squad: Maximum of five
  • Players from the same league in the squad: Minimum of three
  • Players from the same club in the squad: Maximum of five
  • Squad rating: Minimum of 75
  • Chemistry points: Minimum of 22

Reward: 1 x Jumbo Premium Gold Pack (Tradeable)

Estimated Cost: 4,000 – 6,000 FUT Coins across all platforms

The RTTF Late Winner SBC’s slightly longer set of requirements may intimidate more casual FUT players, but regulars shouldn’t have any trouble finishing the challenge. The cost of fodder to complete the Squad Building Challenge is rather low at around 5,000 FUT coins right now. This is despite having around 5 different requirements.

Besides that, there are still two more days for the challenge to be active, giving FIFA 23 players more than enough opportunities to observe if the market shifts in their favor. The SBC is being hailed as one of the first RTTF Squad Building Challenges, but the prize, a Jumbo Premium Gold Pack, does not ensure that the player will receive a card from the new promotion.

Opening any pack during the Road to the Finals period does, however, provide FIFA 23 players a chance to pack one of the special cards. For most FUT players, the Jumbo Premium Gold Pack’s 24 gold cards, seven of which are sure to be rare, make the Late Winner SBC well worth completing.
